To investigate a combined (FC/GT/PV) system generating the electricity while reducing the CO2 emissions caused by fuel consumption of the GT power plant.

The optimal operating pressure of MCFC/GT is about 6bars, and the suitable height of water reservoir to adjust the air compressed storage tank is about 60m. The hybrid system efficiency increases by about 25% when CAES is used and the compressor is switched off. The addition of batteries as a secondary storage system is recommended to reduce wasted power.

The study assumes steady state operation for all components, negligible pressure drops, and ideal gas behavior for all gases. The practical challenges of implementing such a system, including the space required for CAES and the efficiency of TES, are also limitations.
