1:Experimental Design and Method Selection
The study utilized a one-step hydrothermal reaction for the preparation of N/S/P-codoped CDs from glyoxal and isocarbophos. The method is based on the fluorescence quenching of CDs by Fe(III) and its recovery upon the oxidation of HQ by Fe(III).

4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow
The CDs were synthesized via hydrothermal heating. The detection procedure involved mixing CD dispersion with Fe3+ solution, followed by the addition of HQ solutions of different concentrations. Fluorescence spectra were recorded at an excitation wavelength of 363 nm.

The fluorescence intensity changes were analyzed to quantify HQ concentration, with a linear relationship established between fluorescence recovery and HQ concentration.
