The CCO/BWO hybrid photocatalyst exhibits enhanced photocatalytic activity and photostability for water oxidation under visible-light irradiation, achieving an average O2 generation rate of 953 μmol h?1 g?1. The efficient separation of photogenerated electrons and holes in the CCO/BWO hybrid photocatalyst significantly reduces the probability of electron-hole recombination and increases the efficiency of carrier separation.

1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study employed a facile hydrothermal method to synthesize a novel photocatalyst based on Co(CO3)
2:5(OH)·11H2O/Bi2WO6 nanocomposites. Sample Selection and Data Sources:
The samples were prepared using Co(NO3)2·6H2O, NH4F, urea, and different amounts of BWO nanosheets as starting materials.
