研究目的
Investigating the structural, dielectric, ferroelectric, and magnetic properties of Fe substituted nonstoichiometric STO ceramics to realize room temperature multiferroicity.
研究成果
The room temperature multiferroic properties of Fe-doped nonstoichiometric STO ceramics were successfully realized. The ferroelectricity is related to lattice distortions and antisite-like defects, while the ferromagnetism arises from competitions among double exchange interactions, super-exchange interactions, and non-linear ferromagnetic exchange coupling. First principle simulations confirmed the ordered spin arrangement formed by the exchange interaction of Fe atoms.
研究不足
The study focuses on Fe-doped nonstoichiometric STO ceramics, and the findings may not be directly applicable to other materials or doping scenarios. The experimental conditions and sample preparation methods may also limit the generalizability of the results.
