研究目的
To present and discuss the latest achievements in the field of copper oxide thin film gas sensors, including their methods, deposition techniques, and applications in detecting various compounds.
研究成果
Copper oxides have become attractive materials for gas-sensing applications, capable of detecting various gases with high sensitivity, selectivity, and stability. The possibility to function at room temperature with long-term stability makes CuO very attractive for gas-sensing applications, including exhaled breath analysis. Further research is needed to optimize the performance and reduce the operating temperatures of these sensors.
研究不足
The review is limited to papers published from 2016–2018, focusing on selected deposition techniques. It mentions the need for further investigations to modify CuO thin films into nanostructures to reduce working temperatures for certain applications.
