研究目的
To design a broadband and slant ±45? dual-polarized antenna element with compact structure for LTE700/CDMA800/GSM900 bands applications.
研究成果
The proposed antenna has a wide impedance bandwidth of 31.60% with VSWR < 1.6 from 698 to 960 MHz, high port-to-port isolation, and stable radiation pattern across the entire working band, making it suitable for 2G/3G/4G base station applications.
研究不足
The differences between simulation and test environment, and the discrepancies between simulation and measurement models may affect the accuracy of the results.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The antenna design includes two pairs of orthogonal dipoles, four couples of baluns, an octagonal pedestal, and two kinds of plastic fasteners. A square aluminum sheet is placed between adjacent dipoles to widen the impedance bandwidth.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
A prototype of the proposed antenna element is fabricated and tested.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
The antenna is made of aluminum and plastic fasteners made of polyoxymethylene.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The antenna is measured in an anechoic chamber to get its VSWR and port-to-port isolation, and the radiation pattern is measured by far-field test system.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Simulated and measured results are compared to evaluate the antenna's performance.
