研究目的
To characterize a complex electrolyte|electrode interface during an electrochemical process in an aqueous-based medium using a real time, white laser-based ellipsometer, specifically focusing on the prespark anodization regime of the plasma electrolytic oxidation process of the Mg alloy AZ91D in the 3M KOH electrolyte.
研究成果
The use of a super continuum white laser-based ellipsometer significantly enhances the signal-to-noise ratio, allowing for detailed monitoring of the triplex layer structure during the anodization of Mg alloy AZ91D. This method provides deeper insights into the electrochemical processes at the liquid-solid interface, particularly in conditions where traditional ellipsometry would be less effective.
研究不足
The study is limited by the disturbance of the reflected light flux due to gas evolution or roughness at the interface, which can affect the accuracy of the ellipsometric measurements.
