研究目的
Investigating the effectiveness of ps- and μs-laser radiation for drilling holes in CFRP-preforms for the integration of force transmission elements, focusing on process time, hole quality, and materialographical effects.
研究成果
Laser drilling of CFRP-preforms with ultra-short pulse and quasi-cw laser radiation offers productive manufacturing of notches with minimal defects. Qcw-laser drilling provides shorter process times and cylindrical holes but leaves a recast layer. Ultra-short pulse laser drilling achieves high geometrical precision but may result in molten fibers and a heat affected zone. The study identifies optimal process parameters for reducing process time while maintaining hole quality.
研究不足
The study is limited to non-crimp carbon fiber preforms and does not extensively cover the effects of laser drilling on infused CFRP parts. The impact of recast layers on infusion processes and mechanical properties requires further investigation.
