研究目的
To investigate the possibility of using solar photovoltaics in agricultural greenhouses in Greece and to assess their profitability compared with the profitability of their use in households.
研究成果
The use of solar photovoltaics in modern greenhouses in Greece, supported financially by the government according to the net-metering regulations, is profitable, offering economic and environmental benefits to the farmers. The payback period varies from 7.2 years with capital subsidies to 14.4 years without subsidies, with positive net present values in both cases. In households, the payback period is 10.4 years, also with a positive net present value.
研究不足
The study is limited to the economic assessment of solar-PV systems in Greece and does not extensively cover the technical performance or environmental impact beyond carbon footprint reduction. The profitability is highly dependent on government subsidies and the cost of electricity, which may vary in other regions.
