The iOLED-based flexible display demonstrated significantly higher air stability than the conventional-OLED-based display, with approximately half of its initial luminance remaining after 392 days. The use of a solution process and a suitable dopant effectively improved electron injection efficiency, achieving a surface work function as low as 3.0 eV. This study presents a promising approach for developing long-lived flexible displays without stringent encapsulation.
