研究目的
To analyze the performance of various LEDs in a MIMO-OFDM based VLC system for indoor communication.
研究成果
The phosphor-converted LED showed effective performance in the VLC based MIMO-OFDM system, achieving a high data rate. The analysis provides insights into selecting appropriate LEDs for indoor VLC systems based on performance metrics.
研究不足
The study is limited to simulation-based analysis without physical experimentation. The performance metrics are analyzed under specific conditions which may vary in real-world applications.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The MIMO-OFDM-VLC system is simulated in MATLAB R2018a software using an i3 desktop computing environment with 4GB RAM. Various types of LEDs are used as transmitters and APD as a receiver. The modulation scheme used is 16-bit QAM.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Five different LEDs (phosphor-converted LED, organic LED, micro LED, RGB LED, and white LED) are analyzed.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
LEDs as transmitters, Avalanche Photodiode Detector (APD) as receiver, MATLAB R2018a software.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The system is initialized to transfer information from one end to another, analyzing the performance of each LED based on luminous flux, luminous efficacy, switching time, data rate, and brightness.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Performance measures are analyzed through simulation results comparing the different LEDs.
