研究目的
Investigating the impact of inserting semiconductor defects on the transmittance spectrum of a one-dimensional photonic crystal composed of superconducting materials, and studying the effects of temperature and hydrostatic pressure on the defective modes.
研究成果
The insertion of semiconductor defects in 1D-PCs creates defective modes within the photonic band gap, which shift towards long-wavelength regimes with increasing temperature. The quality factor of these modes decreases with temperature, and the separation between defects influences the mode's confinement and symmetry, showing Fano resonance features for closely spaced defects.
研究不足
The study is limited to theoretical and numerical simulations without experimental validation. The effects of hydrostatic pressure on the defective mode are minimal compared to temperature effects.
