研究目的
To quantify the aerosol extinction product of GRASPpac using measurements of different sun/sky photometers located at different heights.
研究成果
The GRASPpac method shows good correlation with photometer measurements, especially for longer wavelengths, and provides extinction profiles with sufficient accuracy. However, further study is needed to understand the differences found, possibly related to aerosol type or other factors.
研究不足
The method overestimates the extinction at low levels and underestimates at high levels. The assumption that extinction doesn’t vary below 250 m a.s.l. may affect the accuracy of the results.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study combines ceilometer and sun/sky photometer measurements in the GRASP code to obtain aerosol extinction profiles.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Data from three photometers at different altitudes in Granada, Spain, were used.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
CHM-15k ceilometer and CE318 sun/sky photometer.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Aerosol optical depth (AOD) and sky radiances were measured and used as input in GRASP to obtain aerosol profiles.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The retrieved aerosol extinction profiles were integrated for different height layers and compared against AOD measured by photometers.
