The variational iteration method was successfully applied to derive optical Gaussons solutions for the nonlinear logarithmic Schr?dinger equations, both with and without a detuning term. The solutions exhibit Gaussian shapes and propagate without soliton radiation through dispersion-managed optical fibers. The amplitude and width of the Gaussons were examined for various parameter values, showing that the detuning term affects the amplitude of the Gaussons.
