1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study employed a one-pot hydrothermal method for the synthesis of NiWO4/N-5% rGO nanocomposites. The methodology included the preparation of graphene oxide (GO) by modified Hummer’s method, followed by the synthesis of NiWO4/N-5% rGO nanocomposites through hydrothermal treatment.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
The samples included NiWO4, NiWO4/5% rGO, and NiWO4/N-5% rGO composites. The photocatalytic performance was evaluated using congo red (CR) dye in aqueous solution.

Materials included sodium tungstate dihydrate, nickel nitrate hexahydrate, graphite flakes, and other chemicals from Merck and Alfa Aesar. Equipment included a Rigaku diffractometer, Raman spectrometer, SEM, BET surface area analyzer, and UV-vis spectrophotometer.

The synthesis involved ultrasonication, hydrothermal treatment, and calcination. Photocatalytic activity was measured under visible light irradiation using a single lamp photo reactor.
