1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The synthesis involved the reaction of 2-(3,5-diphenyl-1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)ethanol with 4-nitrophthalonitrile and 3-nitrophthalonitrile in DMF with K2CO3, followed by cyclotetramerization with CoCl2 or MnCl2 in n-pentanol and DBU under nitrogen atmosphere.
