研究目的
Investigating the development and application of a novel fluorescent probe for the detection of phosgene in solutions and the gas phase.
研究成果
The probe AC-6ED demonstrates fast response, low detection limit, and high selectivity for phosgene detection in solutions and the gas phase, making it a promising tool for environmental monitoring and safety applications.
研究不足
The study focuses on the detection of phosgene using a specific fluorescent probe, and its applicability to other toxic gases or under different environmental conditions was not explored.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The probe AC-6ED was designed with anthracene carboximide as fluorophore and ethylenediamine group as recognition moiety for phosgene detection based on the intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) mechanism.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Phosgene was generated in situ from triphosgene in the presence of triethylamine (TEA) in solutions. Chloroform (CHCl3) was used as the solvent for all assays.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
UV-Visible absorption spectra were measured on a Shimadzu UV-2550 spectrophotometer. Fluorescence spectra were performed on an Agilent Cary Eclipse Fluorescence Spectrophotometer.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Colorimetric and fluorimetric assays were carried out by titrating aliquots of triphosgene in CHCl3 into a solution of AC-6ED in CHCl3 containing
5:1% v/v TEA at room temperature. Data Analysis Methods:
The change of absorption and fluorescence spectra of AC-6ED were recorded and analyzed.
