研究目的
Investigating the effect of L-Tartaric acid doping on Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphate (KDP) crystals to enhance their non-linear optical properties.
研究成果
High quality and transparent LTKDP single crystal has been grown by slow evaporation method at room temperature. The crystal exhibits enhanced non-linear optical properties, making it a promising material for device applications. The SHG efficiency of the grown crystal was found to be 1.09 times that of the pure KDP crystal.
研究不足
The study is limited to the characterization of L-Tartaric acid doped KDP crystals grown by slow evaporation method at room temperature. Potential areas for optimization include exploring different doping concentrations and growth techniques.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
Single crystal of L-Tartaric acid doped KDP was grown by slow evaporation technique at room temperature.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Higher grade KDP salt was dissolved in double distilled water and
3:4% of L-Tartaric Acid was doped with KDP. List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
XPERT–PRO Diffractometer, FTIR and FT-Raman spectrometers, Q-switched Nd: YAG laser, H10K1 3532 LCR HITESTER.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The solution was stirred for homogenization, filtered, and allowed to evaporate slowly in a dust-free atmosphere.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Powder XRD for crystallinity, FTIR and FT-Raman for functional group analysis, SHG efficiency measurement using Kurtz powder technique, dielectric studies using LCR HITESTER.
