From the review, it is concluded that increasing the number of coating layers reduces porosity and enhances corrosion resistance, variations in composition affect corrosion current densities and polarization resistance, in-flight temperature is a critical parameter, and standoff distance influences coating thickness and corrosion potential. Decrease in standoff distance increases corrosion potential.
