研究目的
To develop a rapid and low-temperature method for synthesizing Cr2O3 nanoparticles with high near-infrared reflectance for roof-top cooling and anti-dazzling coatings.
研究成果
Microwave-assisted synthesis followed by low-temperature annealing produces nanocrystalline Cr2O3 with high NIR reflectance, suitable for roof-top cooling and green pigments, offering a rapid and efficient alternative to traditional methods.
研究不足
The method requires annealing above 300°C for crystallization, and the as-prepared material is amorphous. Long-term stability and scalability for industrial applications may need further investigation.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
Microwave-assisted solution synthesis was used with Cr(acac)3 and ethylene glycol, optimized for time and temperature. Annealing was performed to crystallize the nanoparticles.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Cr(acac)3 precursor was synthesized in-house; samples were prepared and annealed at various temperatures.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Microwave-hydrothermal synthesizer (CEM Discover), X-ray diffractometer (Rigaku Ultima IV), UV-Vis spectrophotometer (Jasco V650), HR-TEM (JEOL 3010), spectrophotometer with integrating sphere (Perkin Elmer Lambda 950), FT-IR spectrometer (Jasco FT-IR 6200), stainless steel blocks (SS304), ethylene glycol, CTAB, ethanol, water.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Dissolve Cr(acac)3 in ethylene glycol, add CTAB, microwave irradiate at 220°C for 40-60 min, wash and dry precipitate, anneal at 300-700°C for 4 hours, characterize using XRD, TEM, reflectance spectroscopy, FT-IR, and thermal performance tests.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
XRD for crystallinity, TEM for morphology and size, reflectance spectra for NIR and color analysis, FT-IR for chemical bonds, thermal tests for cooling efficiency.
